All products can be sent worldwide. I use Royal Mail as a carrier, and postage abroad is calculated on weight, with prices ranging from £2.50 for cards and the like, to £20 for a large framed picture, such as "I'd be lost without you".
*Please note that for worldwide orders, there may be a customs charge which is out of my control.
Within the UK, packages are either sent First Class, or for larger items, Royal Mail Signed For Delivery, or a courier service. Because pictures are heavy and fragile, I have to use a reputable carrier, and I am extremely careful when packaging up pieces. My post and packaging prices reflect this: unfortunately, as a small British business, I have to charge for post and packaging. The following price based shipping charges will apply when items are purchased:
- Items up to £5.00: £1.00 P&P
- Items over £5.00 and up to £15.00: £2.50 P&P
- Items over £15.00 and up to 30.00: £5.00 P&P
- Items over £30.00 and up to £75.00: £8.50 P&P
- Items over £75.00: £12.00 P&P
Parcels are dispatched within 2-3 working days from payment, when you’ve purchased from the online shop. For bespoke orders, timescales are of course different: I’ve outlined these in the Contact tab on the site, and you can also take a look at the information in my terms and conditions. In the unlikely event of there being any delay, either in sending you your item from the online shop, or your bespoke order, I will always notify you via email to let you know.
Please note that when you place a bespoke order, I will always quote you for the price of the piece/s and the P&P charges.
Here's a bit more information about how I make up your parcel:
I use extremely sturdy cardboard boxes and postage tubes, and because the framed pictures contain glass, I use bubble wrap as this is one of the best and safest methods of ensuring there are no breakages. I always include a handwritten gift tag with each purchase- there’s always something interesting on the gift tag too, gleaned from my extensive stock of paper ephemera. Don’t forget to look out for the heart confetti in the box: I always include some- it may have slipped to the bottom in transit. Please re-use the hearts: stick them anywhere, or scatter them about: they’re lovely. I also use super Hector&Haddock stickers which can be peeled off and re-stuck somewhere.
If it's a gift, as is often the case, I can send the bill to one address and the parcel to another. Please let me know via email, and I can also include a handwritten card if you’d like: free of charge, as it’s just part of the service.
